Litigation When You Are Screwed Is Rarely Successful Due To The HCQIA of 1986

The Heath Care Quality Improvement Act of 1986, a federal law, is called a "legal carve-out" It is a most important law that is rarely if ever discussed. It states that Physicians ( MDs, DOs, DDSs and DPMs) do not have substantive or factual due process rights ( "due process rights") and only procedural due process rights or a "right" to a "Hearing" before the same folks who are prosecuting you. The Hospitals, administration, the physician leadership, etc, have almost strict immunity. Judicial review can not grant you rights that the HCQIA Law has taken away. Richard Willner will discuss an illogical law that permits " sham peer review", the blatant manufacturing of wrong evidence, and the destruction of the "disruptive physician". Effective, proven techniques will be discussed by a national thought leader in peer review with some 15 years of experience.
